Lee Ha-nui or known to her western audience as Honey Lee, is a South Korean actress, a professional gayageum player and is the former MISS KOREA 2006. She was born in Seoul, South Korea. The 2nd of 3 children.
I first came across Honey one night while I was channel surfing; a DULCOLAX commercial came on the tv set and strangely I spent most of my time looking at the actress in it. I thought she was really pretty to be in a commercial about a stool softener. So I googled the commercial…anything is possible with GOOGLE; and I found out who she was. She is also the winner of the 2006 MISS KOREA PAGEANT. She has also starred in several dramas such as PASTA (2010), IMMORTAL CLASSIC (2012) and as well as SHARK (2013). She is also one of the most well-known Korean vegetarians and has her own show called Lee Ha-Nui’s Vegan Recipe
She comes from a very gifted family her mother has a PH.D in Korean Music History, her sister is a member of the KBS Orchestra of Traditional Korean Music and has received the President’s Award from Korea’s National Classical Music Institute. Ha-nui is also a professional gayageum player with a release of 4 albums she has also performed in over 25 countries. She is currently the new face of Japanese cosmetic company Shiseido.
